    Description

    This is a very charming circa 1842 Staffordshire teapot and lid from a children's dish pattern titled "Garden Sports."  It in in green with transfer patterns of children playing in a garden.  The teapot is about 4 & 1/2" tall with the lid in place and 7 & 1/2" from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout.  The lid has a flower knop.  I think that the lid may have been professionally repaired at some time in the far past but am not positive about that.   On one side is a picture of children with a wheelbarrow and on the other they are playing with what I think is a goat.
