    Description

Scarce and Very Desirable Child’s Blue & Green Spongeware Spatter Ware Ironstone Teapot and Sugar Bowl with Lids.  Unmarked, Most Probably Staffordshire, England – c. 1840s.
The charming Sugar Bowl and Lid are in excellent condition as is the Lid for the Teapot.
The matching Teapot is also in very good condition though it’s Handle has been re-glued.  Teeny shallow 1/16" flake off its Spout (barely noticeable).  Some spots of light browning inside at the bottom of the Teapot - again not significant.
Both measure 3 7/8” in height.  The Teapot is 6” from Spout to Handle and the Sugar Bowl is 3 ¾” in diameter.  Crazing is present in both which, of course, is common for these pieces given how they were made.
Given the rarity of these pieces, they will be insured fully in shipping.
